What are your recommendations for lactose intolerance?

My first recommendation is to come off all dairy products. Once we allow the body to heal itself, then we can slowly introduce dairy back into the diet. However, I only recommend raw dairy, especially for my lactose intolerant clients. Raw dairy contains the necessary enzyme, Lactase, to assist your body in breaking down lactose. Other options are Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, and Hemp Milkā€¦ make sure you get the “unsweetened” varieties, otherwise these too can have sugar added to them.
